"I read this book, and I was entertained. It’s fun, it’s big, it’s epic. I like these kinds of films."
"It’s constantly managing your compromises with the studio, the people that are making the film. They want that from you - to be that thing. They want you to fucking have bright white teeth and wear the cool outfit and look good, so they can sell you. But if it’s not beneficial for the character then why the fuck would I do it? It’s constantly balancing that, managing your compromises, getting somewhere in between."
"For me, being able to be vulnerable is difficult, but it’s just something that I feel comfortable doing. I need to fully understand why, the thought-process behind the character and I have to believe it. That comes from a lot of preparation."

"I would love to get behind the camera as a producer or director one day for sure. Filmmaking has and always will be a lifelong passion of mine.”
I just want to make sure I’m contributing good films to movie history rather than being famous just to be famous.

"Acting has given me a lot, and I love this thing, and if I was still able to move into the film industry, it would be cool."
